Gartner Report: Okta Named A Leader For Access Management 2019

Okta Named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Access Management for the Third Consecutive Year

Gartner predicts that by 2022, 60% of access management implementations will leverage user and entity behaviour analytics capabilities and other controls to provide continuous authentication, authorisation and online fraud detection, up from less than 10% today(1).


Okta provides a SaaS-delivered Access Management Solution, including Okta Single Sign-On and Okta Adaptive Single Sign-On. Gartner reports that Okta received the highest score for the customer experience category, including customer compliments for the product’s ease of deployment and use.


Gartner recently recognised Okta as a Leader in the “Magic Quadrant for Access Management,  August 2019” for the third year in a row. Additionally, Okta has been placed highest both “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision” making them the first vendor in the report’s history to do so.

In Gartner’s analysis, Okta ranked very high for its market responsiveness and track record, and this past year saw several key acquisitions and announcements of improvements in its portfolio, such as Okta’s Access Gateway that protects legacy-on premises applications, which addresses an important requirement for hybrid cloud and on-premises protection services.
